McDonald Haulage is a Scottish haulage company based in Invergordon, just north of the Highland capital of Inverness.

OUR HISTORY DATES BACK TO 1973

Our parent company, McDonald Scaffolding, was established in 1973 by father-and-son team Maxie and Mike McDonald. As the business continued to expand, it became clear that there was a demand for flexible, reliable transport of materials and goods to sites both locally and nationally. McDonald Haulage was established in 2011, headed up by Mike’s nephew Robert, creating the family-owned McDonald Group of companies.

Initially serving the construction industry in the North of Scotland, our fleet has expanded to provide the distribution of industrial, energy and manufacturing materials throughout the Highlands, Islands and the UK nationwide.

McDonald Haulage operates an agile, flexible transportation and distribution service, utilising an experienced team of qualified drivers and transportation staff. Our ground team hold ADR and CPC certification and are fully trained in the operation of our diverse range of vehicles – from our 44-ton gross artic trucks to our HIAB rigid trucks.
